Citrine is with Topaz the birthstone of November. Its warm colour is said to be a gift from the sun. As we enter the darker winter months, Citrine brings warm hues of orange and yellow, reminiscent of a forest on an Autumn day. It comes from the French word "citron" meaning lemon. Citrine is the 13th anniversary gemstone.
